Product Description

Function of Stopper

1.To control the steel flow from tundish to mold.
2.Work with slide gate as an shut off device and to prevent slag entrapment during casting end.
3.Through stopper to blow Argon to steel channel to prevent block from inclusion deposition.

Preheating method for stopper and tundish before casting
1.It takes 20minites from room temperature to 900ºC
2.From 900ºC to 1150ºC it takes 20minites and holding at 1150ºC for 2.5hours, then casting.

2.Ceramic glaze layer to prevent the material oxidation effectively.

4.Porous plug to prevent the steel stream from entering the stopper.

6.Spinel head materials have exceptional good resistance to slag corrosion.
7.Standard Mg-C head materials having good slag corrosion resistance for processing steel with Ca.
